April Silbaugh Bio

My creative outlets are writing and making jewelry with pottery. I also love furry creatures, Chai tea, warm socks, sewing, and sleep.

I am working on a book about my family’s recent move to country life and all the adventures and heartache it has entailed. When we were getting ready to make the leap from town to “out in the boonies” I wanted to read about other “modern pioneers” who had also gone through this transition, but had a hard time finding anything. Ultimately, I would like to reach people about our family’s experience, from a wife and mother’s point of view. It’s like I’ve been stitching a quilt in my brain (life experiences, scenarios and quotes) and this is my way to show the world what I’ve created.
