• Given hundreds of workshops, readings, presentations, and signings in Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Arizona, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Nebraska, Idaho, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, and the National Cowboy Poetry Gathering in Elko, Nevada
• Given radio and television presentations, interviews, and readings throughout the Rocky Mountain area
• Been keynote speakers and panelists
• Conducted writing retreats in Wyoming, South Dakota, the southwest, and British Columbia
• Worked in the schools at all grade levels
• Juried writing competitions for Wyoming Arts Council, Young Authors, and other organizations
• Served as faculty for Wyoming Writers, Western Writers of America, Women Writing the West, and other         conferences
• Juried entries for the National Park Service, Devils Tower National Monument Residency annual competition
• Sponsored writing workshops bringing in outside writers

Workshops

Bearlodge Writers give group workshops for writers and teachers of writing. Workshops may include panels or roundtables on fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children’s writing, memoir writing, journaling, creative nonfiction, the art of critique, technical writing, essays, or journalism, and can be tailored to individual interests. A demonstration critique session on works-in-progress of Bearlodge Writers and selected participants is a popular feature of Bearlodge Writers workshops.
